Eurasian Resources Group at the 2018 World Mining Congress. Digital projects in the mining and smelting sector of Kazakhstan: New challenges – new opportunities
Management team of Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), the trending diversified company in the field of natural resources extraction and processing, and other leaders of the industry, along with the most reputable experts and members of the allied sectors, will take part in the 25th World Mining Congress which will be held in the city of Astana on June 19th-22nd, 2018, and thus Kazakhstan will be the first country within the territory of the CIS states to host this outstanding event in its capital.
The key topics of the Congress include: implementation of innovative solutions, automation and digitalization of enterprises, attraction of investments into the mining industry.

Mr. Mashkevich will give a report “Digital projects in the mining and smelting sector of Kazakhstan: new challenges – new opportunities“ under the auspices of the actual subject section of Innovations and Industry 4.0 within the plenary session of the Congress which, as expected, will be attended by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The implementation of the Digital projects has a fundamental importance for the sustainable and systematic growth of ERG. The Group has developed and introduced a number of the software products, and this experience allowed for the significant step forward in terms of the IT-competency in all spheres as well as assisted in the overall modernization of the information technologies.
“ERG has come up with more than 10 projects involving the elements of the Industry 4.0 platform, one of the most advanced modern tendencies of the international technological development that helps to cut operational costs and sufficiently increase product output by using relatively cheap technological solutions”, - Alexander Mashkevich said. “We are striving for the continuous improvement of the adopted digital solutions, but on top of that, we are also adjusting the corporate social responsibility strategy of the Group. New technologies have always been of the highest priority for ERG, and we continue to invest into the development and support of the Digital projects”.

In Brazil, ERG continues to develop the project of Pedra de Ferro, an integrated complex in the production of iron ore with the annual capacity of 20 mln tons.
