The main direction of the session, relevance, purpose: development and innovation of open pit mining. Complication of mining and geological conditions, involvement into development of poorer deposits, deepening of mining operations, deterioration of ecological situation, the need to transfer to green economy, raise a number of technological problems that can be systematically solved with close interrelationship of science and production, creation of innovations based on advanced technologies of the world level, investment and technology partnerships. The purpose of the session is to identify the main trends of effective interaction at various levels.
Key topics for discussion:
- Geotechnology for development of deposits of minerals by open pit mining method: drilling and blasting, excavating and loading,
mining and transport, dumping, reclamation, etc.; - productivity and efficiency;
- planning and management;
- CAD of open pit mining;
- normative documents and international standards.
